NYU Langone Health approached me to do a series of illustrations and icons for their publication, “Your Heart: An Operator’s Manual”. Part educational, part promotional, the guide was designed to resemble a car’s owners manual, as a way of explaining to both current and potential patients, the heart health services NYU Langone has to offer.
Divided into 6 chapters: The Valves, The Electrical System, The Pipes, The Engine, System Upgrade and Owner Maintenance, the manual employs straight language and a bit of humor to help guide patients through what can be some of the most life-changing and consequential decision’s regarding their health, that a person can ever make.
