Big corporations often drain our attention for their gain. But when we unite, we can harness our collective power to uplift our communities.
This idea drove the explainer video I created for HUDSY, a Hudson Valley startup dedicated to empowering local creators. HUDSY provides a platform for sharing diverse local stories, fostering inclusion, and building strong community connections. Its was important to highlight how HUDSY helps local creatives thrive, through collaboration and support, reflecting the true strength of an empowered, united community.
Character Design
When designing the characters for this project, it was important to reflect the diversity of the people who call the Hudson Valley home. Working with some examples from a poster I previously created for a HUDSY screening event, I further developed these characters and expanded the roster to include a wide range of individuals from all walks of life.
