The landing image for the homepage.
Taking inspiration from an iconic Woody Pirtle poster, I worked with Scenic Hudson to create a cohesive set of imagery, both static and animated, for the launch of stoptheplant.org. The site that acts as a virtual rallying point to organize and oppose the construction of the Danskammer power plant on the shores of the Hudson River in the Mid-Hudson region of New York State.
The Toolkit section of the site contains most of the images available for download, for use in social media postings, as a way of sharing the message. This includes posters, GIFs, even a customized version of the display font.
Below is a screenshot of the landing page. I created all the graphical elements (except for the various organizational logos of the initiative's partners).
