As part of Travel & Leisure magazine's redesign I was asked by AD Kory Kennedy to design the infographics for the relaunch of the "upgrade" section. The infographics went through several iterations before we settled on the right approach for each. Some were purely data driven while others were more narrative in the approach.
Preparatory  sketches 
The "Fare Wars" chart had to compare competing prices for each route as well as the overall relationship between each.
For this chart, which compares the price and services between a traditional carrier, Delta and a newer low cost carrier, Norwegian air, we decided to take a narrative approach, following the process from booking to arrival.
For these two charts the task was to stylistically link these 2 related points of data.
And finally for this one, humor was the key.
